Dr. Shawn, THE LPC

Richarne Fuqua is affectionately known as Dr. Shawn, The LPC and she has almost 20 years working with women Michigan and now serving women in Georgia. Specializing in unearthing generational trauma, Dr. Shawn has studied African American women and the mother-daughter relationship and has worked with women of all ages. Dr. Shawn has seen results with evidence based treatment but quickly learned the millennial woman needed a safe place to discuss her concerns and fears. I'm not only a mental health advocate, I am a wife, a mother, a sister and friend. Women need a safe place to figure things out. My signature approach is to create as space like you are sitting with a friend, before the conversation gets deep. My therapeutic style is an eclectic mix with empathetic listening, affect management, EMDR and mindfulness techniques with a genuine concern for your wellness and emotional health.
